Small Shortcuts

Two small shortcuts for iPhone, iPad and HomePod that I use myself. Both can be added to the Shortcuts app via an iCloud link. They speak and ask in German.

Stadt, Land, Fluss

The shortcut is called “Stadt, Land, Fluss Spielleiter” (game master for the German word game “City, Country, River”) and runs a round: it picks a random letter, announces it, counts down two minutes and ends the round.

For me it works on the HomePod without a screen, by voice alone.

It speaks with the Siri voice Helena (German, Premium). That is how the shortcut is set up, and the voice has to be downloaded on the device.

The shortcut asks “How many ml of water did you drink?” (in German) and writes the amount to Apple Health.
