Portfolio & about
Hi — I’m Daniel.
iOS developer. On the side I build my own apps, Shortcuts, and an arcade remake. Off the clock, the guy in the red cap by the sea: old-school hip-hop on an Akai MPC, Nintendo, and karate.
About me

Into the Apple world because Atari went bankrupt. Hip-hop, Nintendo, and an MPC come with that — not a résumé.
Work

solutio — dental software charly
Four years at solutio on the dental software charly. I built up the iOS department there and developed iPad apps.
How it started
- Berlin
Hip-hop as a teenager
Hip-hop in Berlin, on Cubase then. Direct-to-disk and MIDI.
- Nintendo
Consoles that ran in Germany
As a kid, imported and modded consoles so they would run here. One of the first small businesses. Would rather play Nintendo when his head is full.
- Atari
Falcon 030 in a rack
Saved for two years for an Atari Falcon 030, then put it in a 19-inch rack. Hardware and system from the inside.
- Today
Akai MPC
Old-school hip-hop in free time, now on an Akai MPC Key 37.
Three highlights
A game, a Shortcut, a Mac app. Short and honest — no marketing gloss.
Hobbies
Karate
Shotokan Karate at SV Böblingen. Brown belt.
My path to brown belt →Video games
Would rather play Nintendo when my head is full — and retro gaming.
Gravel bike
I ride a gravel bike.

Music making
Hip-hop in Berlin as a teenager, on Cubase then. Old-school on an Akai MPC Key 37 now.
