Animal Farm Sounds

Animal Farm Sounds app icon: a pink pig in front of orange-red circles

Animal Farm Sounds is a kids' app for iPhone and iPad in landscape: you tap the animals on the farm and hear what they sound like.

The game first existed in 2014/2015 as an Objective-C version with SpriteKit. The current version is a rewrite in Swift 6 with SwiftUI and SpriteKit. The browser version recreates the behaviour of the new app.

On the farm

You can see a cow, sheep, pig, cat, dog, horse, rooster and bee, plus the sun and a vending machine. Tapping an animal plays its sound and makes it shrink briefly and grow back. Tap the cat three times and a heart appears; tap the pig three times and a surprise waits. The sun changes its face and makes a sound, the vending machine makes a sound and fills the feed bowl after seven seconds.

The first version from 2014/15

The first version was an Objective-C game with SpriteKit. The animal images and the background in the new app are the same files as back then, and the pig on the icon stayed too. Below, the old and the new app icon.
